Its Lighthouse Avionics VICTOR Mini sensor suite watches low-altitude airspace with passive electro-optical and infrared cameras, and AI-powered detection automatically finds, tracks and classifies aircraft — without transmitting radar or other active RF energy.

How many cameras does the system include?

Six 12MP EO/IR cameras in a fixed array continuously observe the surrounding airspace and feed the detection system.

What detection range can I expect?

Lighthouse Avionics publishes a 4 km detection benchmark for a Cessna 172-size aircraft at 80% probability of detection under its benchmark conditions. Detection range varies with target size, weather and conditions, so this is a performance reference, not a drone-detection guarantee.

What level of tracking accuracy can I expect?

Sub-meter position accuracy under supported conditions, so operators know precisely where a tracked aircraft is.

Is the Alpha Maverick™ DFR and BVLOS ready?

Yes. Its ground-based Detect and Avoid support lets the same airspace sensors serve approved Beyond Visual Line of Sight and Drone as First Responder programs. BVLOS operations require an approved safety case and appropriate DAA architecture; the hardware alone does not grant FAA approval.

Does it work with radar and other sensors?

Yes. The passive optical detection layer integrates with radar, RF sensors, ADS-B / Remote ID and command-and-control systems. The Alpha Maverick™ is the detection and sensing layer of a broader response system; it is not a jammer or kinetic defeat system.
